Scientia Education is a fast-growing provider of private tutoring services in and around Geneva. Our mission is to build students’ skills, curiosity, and confidence to make a lasting impact on their future studies and careers.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IB French tutor to join our team.

About Us

At Scientia Education, we primarily support students in the international school system (e.g., the IB Diploma Programme), though we welcome applications from tutors with experience in other curricula. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive workplace that provides ongoing training, mentorship, and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

Your Role

• Deliver engaging, student-centred French lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs.

• Provide specialised support for students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, focusing on Language A and B curricula, oral and written assessments, and exam preparation.

• Help students deepen their understanding of French language and literature, fostering long-term academic success.

• Work closely with students to build confidence, independence, and motivation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Working towards or have obtained a relevant research degree (Masters, PhD) or a teaching certification (PGCE, UEFE).

• Fluent in French with strong proficiency in English (full fluency in English is highly desirable).

• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (highly desirable).

• Familiarity with the IB education system (preferred but not essential).

• Flexibility to teach online and in person at our office on Avenue Rosemont 12bis, Geneva.
